Most of Alfie's isopods are kept at 20 - 24*C, dry with a damp mossy corner and good ventilation.
The Glomeris seem to prefer a temperature of 18 - 22*C.
The Rhopalomeris are kept at around 22 - 24*C and more humid.
They all have roughly 2 inches of woodland leaf litter with rotten white wood, lichen covered branches and a damp pile of moss at one end, and are fed with
slices of cucumber, courgette, sweet potato, carrot, lettuce or fish flakes twice a week, in addition to the rotting leaves & wood.
The large Porcellio species also enjoy some raw chicken or turkey now & again and seem to need a good level of protein in their diet.
Cuttlefish or Limestone is essential for calcium.

We have found that a 15ltr cake storage tub is perfect for the woodlice, we have added a ventilation disc with a fine mesh backing
and have most of the lids open a couple of inches in the daytime & just slide them over again at night.
So far we haven't seen any sign of them being able to climb the plastic but who knows what they get up to in the early hours!
