Breeding
We have a varied and growing collection of small creatures here at home and we try to keep each
individual species in as natural a habitat as possible with regard to substrate, temperature & humidity.
Some of them will breed quite happily and as we can't keep them all
we will usually have some offspring available in our online shop.
Any money raised goes straight back into our hobby to go towards the upkeep & feeding as well as helping
with the costs involved in the study & research of lesser known species.
Giant Snails
* All of our different colour forms for most species are kept separate from each other as shown on our species pages.
* We do not allow all our eggs to hatch, sometimes they are frozen to prevent overcrowding & inbreeding.
* We only keep eggs from giant snail species that are over 2 years old and have a good shell length.
* We try to add wild caught adults to our groups whenever possible to keep the bloodlines fresh.
* All snails in our adult breeding groups are un-related to each other.
* We only ever sell animals that we have bred ourselves.
* We do remove runts.
