Species Research
We try to do research on new & unusual species whenever possible.
You will find lots more photos & information on our research pages...

We have a general Research page for most of the species that we are currently studying,
a 'Past Research' page for species that we have kept but were not successful with
and the Chiliborus Research page for a quick look at 5 years of study results for this beautiful but mostly unknown species!

Lots more videos on our  YouTube  page!

Most snail species enjoy nibbling at algae & lichen - try placing sticks & branches in for them.

All adult snail sizes given on our website are for approximate shell length only.
It will vary slightly for each individual snail, depending on diet, habitat &

whether or not they are wild caught or captive bred.

The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Prohibits the release into the wild, of any animal species not native to Great Britain.

The damage to our countryside, that non native species can do to our own plant & animal life could be extensive
because of the amount of eggs laid, babies born & food consumed by invertebrates.

If you ever have unwanted snail eggs, please freeze & crush them properly BEFORE disposal.

If any of our customers would like to leave a review on our f.b page
